Morning Light on the Tuolumne River
Posted By John Chabalko on August 30th, 2007
We were only there for 2 mornings, but this is what it look on each of them. The water was so clear you could generally see down to the bottom no matter how deep it was (granted it’s late summer and the water isn’t really that deep, maybe 20 feet at the most).
More than once while we were standing on the river’s edge we could see the shadows of trout on the river bed as they moved around with the flow of the river looking for food.
(yikes – photoshop is killing me today.. This image looks totally different on my computer than it does once it’s “save for web”‘d. The tones are supple, there are strong blacks and whites. blech! bad photoshop! i may replace this version if i can get it to look more the way it does here in front of me)
