We stayed up at one of the Yosemite High Camps this past weekend – May Lake to be specific – highly recommended. Tour buses and the tourists that go along with them never really make it out of the vally. At 10,000 feet they’re a distant memory. The camp was great and there are 4 more that are likely just as great.

Before we headed out to our site we stopped for lunch and some pictures along the road near the meadow. If you look closely you’ll see a number of climbers out along the rocks. They look like ants.
